Arthur Murphy

An Intermittent Blogger

After a brief encounter with adulthood in his early 30’s, Arthur discovered that – although childhood is overrated – adulthood need not be boring. Consequently, he has followed paths that are relatively tolerant of an inquisitive attitude. When not consulting on best practices for providing access to electronic media for people with disabilities, he can be found riding his bicycle in North America and Europe – with a notepad, a pencil, and a glass of local wine.

An Intermittent Rant

As someone born during the Presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt, my enthusiasm for what is – in so many ways – a wonderful country has diminished.  I remember Dwight D. Eisenhower.  I remember John F. Kennedy.

The last 4 years we have been governed not by a war hero – but a draft dodger in the Oval Office.  And we have been afflicted by a Pandemic – a public health emergency not rationally addressed by The Donald.

May the Biden administration move us toward the best of times.
